PinkPantheress Aces Harry Styles and Lady Gaga Trivia on ‘The Weakest Link’

In what might be the most unexpected TV moment of 2026 so far, PinkPantheress stunned with a surprise appearance on The Weakest Link this weekend.
The 24-year-old vocalist-producer appeared in Saturday’s (Feb. 7) episode of the British quiz show, hosted by Romesh Ranganathan. Other contestants included comedian Harriet Kemsley and podcaster Hilary Gish Whitehall, mother of Jack Whitehall.
PinkPantheress aced questions on pop icons including Lady Gaga and Harry Styles, making it to the final three. She knew that Harry Styles’ song is called “Music For A Sushi Restaurant” and not “Music For A Greasy Spoon,” and answered a question about Gaga’s Mayhem Ball tour correctly.
During a round of literature questions, the singer was asked about Shakespeare and blurted out “Chaka Khan” – a reference to RuPaul’s wildly wrong (and random) answer on The Weakest Link in 2001. The meme‑worthy moment has since delighted fans on social media.
For viewers in the U.K., the full episode can be watched back on BBC iPlayer.
The week prior, Pink attended her first Grammy ceremony as a two‑time nominee. The rising star, nominated for best dance/electronic Album for Fancy That and best dance pop recording for her hit “Illegal,” spoke with Billboard about how meaningful it was to be recognised by the voting academy.
“I did not expect [to be at the Grammys] at any point, I was 19 when I started making music on the internet,” she said. “When you start out like that, you think, ‘Is this going to translate to everyone offline? I don’t know’. To make it here… I just never imagined it would happen.”
Fancy That has become one of the standout releases of 2025, earning widespread acclaim in both the U.K. and US. The nine‑track project debuted at No. 72 on the Billboard 200 and No. 3 on the UK Official Albums Chart, also earning a prestigious Mercury Prize nomination.
Since its release, Pink has pursued numerous other sidequests beyond her appearance on The Weakest Link. Last summer, she won a youth chess grand slam tournament in Bromley, while she also participated in an episode of Impractical Jokers.
