Brett Favre<\/a> is weighing in on which musical act he\u2019ll watch during the 2026 Super Bowl<\/a> Halftime Show.<\/p>\n

On Saturday (Feb. 7), the former Green Bay Packers quarterback, 56, shared on X why he\u2019s choosing Turning Point USA\u2019s \u201cAll-American Halftime Show\u201d over Bad Bunny<\/a>\u2018s performance on Sunday (Feb. 8) at Levi\u2019s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot familiar with Bad Bunny so don\u2019t know if his music is good or bad,\u201d Favre wrote on X<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m just going to watch what I know Lee Brice, Kid Rock All-American Halftime Show.\u201d<\/p>\n

The NFL Hall of Famer\u2019s post also included a clip of himself discussing his halftime music pick on an episode of his 4th and Favre<\/em> podcast, which he co-hosts with David Kano. <\/p>\n

The official Super Bowl LX halftime show will feature Grammy winner Bad Bunny, who is from Puerto Rico, and American territory, and performs almost exclusively in Spanish.<\/p>\n

Turning Point USA, founded by late conservative activist Charlie Kirk, announced its \u201cAll-American Halftime Show\u201d shortly after Bad Bunny was revealed as the Super Bowl headliner. The Turning Point lineup for Super Bowl Sunday includes Kid Rock<\/a>, Lee Brice<\/a>, Gabby Barrett<\/a> and Brantley Gilbert<\/a>. The show is being billed as an alternative to the NFL\u2019s official halftime performance. <\/p>\n

Favre, a supporter of President Donald Trump, was met with some backlash in the comments section of his post on X.<\/p>\n

\u201cShocking that the guy that defrauded his states welfare and sent unsolicited d\u2014k pics to a reporter, aligns with kid rock and maga,\u201d one person wrote<\/a>. Another commented<\/a>, \u201cYou wouldn\u2019t [like] Bad Bunny, Brett. He actively gives back to his community instead of defrauding it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The remarks alluded to Favre\u2019s involvement<\/a> in a Mississippi welfare controversy, in which investigators claimed that public assistance funds were misused for projects tied to the former athlete. The case received national attention because the funds were meant to help low-income families. Favre has denied any wrongdoing, and the issue has continued to unfold through civil litigation and public scrutiny.<\/p>\n

Others agreed with Favre\u2019s choice, writing<\/a>, \u201cMe too! Dont know who bad bunny is???\u201d Another added<\/a>, \u201cAmen Brett!!\u201d alongside an image of the American flag.<\/p>\n

Super Bowl LX is set for Sunday, with the Seattle Seahawks facing the New England Patriots. The game will air on<\/a> NBC, with livestreaming available on Peacock. The Turning Point USA halftime show will air on<\/a> Turning Point\u2019s social media channels, as well as platforms including The Daily Wire and TBN. <\/p>\n
