Kayla Nicole poked fun at her past relationship with Travis Kelce<\/a> \u2014 and his new romance with Taylor Swift <\/a>\u2014 in an eyebrow-raising Super Bowl<\/a> campaign that also features Offset<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The premise of the tongue-in-cheek ad for fantasy league site Sleeper, which premiered Sunday, was to show off the services of a faux \u201cEx Communicator\u201d business run by Tiffany Haddish and NBA star Ben Simmons. In doing so, they feature talking-head interviews with three of their \u201cclients,\u201d each of whom apparently sought the duo\u2019s help in untangling their famous exes from their public images. <\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t get me started on these two \u2014 they\u2019ve got no idea what they\u2019re doing,\u201d Nicole says during her scene, with text at the bottom of the screen identifying her as the \u201cex of a certain NFL player.\u201d \u201cSimmons & Haddish promised me that they could put an end to this whole \u2018ex-girlfriend\u2019 fiasco quickly.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cThat doesn\u2019t sound right,\u201d Simmons interjects, and after an exasperated Nicole throws out two other synonyms \u2014 \u201crapidly\u201d and \u201cpronto\u201d \u2014 the NBA star directly makes a joke about the Kansas City Chiefs tight end\u2019s ultra famous fianc\u00e9e. \u201cI said swiftly<\/em>, why is that so hard to remember?\u201d <\/p>\n

After that, Haddish jumps in to set up a dig at Kelce. \u201cThat\u2019s on me, I came at him wrong. I thought he was Black, my bad,\u201d she says, to which Simmons replies, \u201cTo your credit, Tiff, we as a [Black] community need to be better gatekeepers of the taper fade,\u201d referencing the football player\u2019s love of the fade hairstyle. <\/p>\n

Nicole and Kelce dated on and off between 2017 and 2022. The Sleeper ad isn\u2019t the first time she\u2019s playfully addressed her breakup from the New Heights <\/em>podcaster since he started dating Swift in 2023; this past Halloween, the sports commentator dressed up as Toni Braxton<\/a> and posted a video of herself singing along to \u201cHe Wasn\u2019t Man Enough.\u201d<\/p>\n

Many fans at the time assumed Nicole\u2019s costume was in reference to Kelce getting engaged to Swift the previous August, going off lyrics in the song like, \u201cDo you know I dumped your husband, girlfriend?\/ I\u2019m not thinking \u2019bout him\/ But you married him.\u201d<\/p>\n

But Nicole isn\u2019t the only one trying to get people to see her as more than someone\u2019s ex: Offset \u2014 whose messy split<\/a> from estranged wife Cardi B has been playing out publicly since July 2024 \u2014 also appeared in the Sleeper ad, sarcastically quipping, \u201cI don\u2019t even know what I\u2019m doing here, I\u2019m great at relationships.\u201d<\/p>\n
