Ella Langley<\/a> just made history as she earned her first No. 1 hit<\/a> on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100<\/a> with her song \u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas.\u201d<\/p>\n

The groovy country tune, which Langley wrote with Grammy winner Miranda Lambert, as well as JoyBeth Taylor and Luke Dick, soared to the chart\u2019s pinnacle, and in the process, Langley became the first woman to have her song top Billboard<\/em>\u2018s Hot 100<\/a>, Country Airplay<\/a> and Hot Country Songs<\/a> charts simultaneously. The only other songs that have managed the feat are Post Malone\u2019s \u201cI Had Some Help\u201d (feat. Morgan Wallen), Shaboozey\u2019s \u201cTipsy (A Bar Song)\u201d and Wallen\u2019s \u201cLast Night.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas\u201d is in its 11th week at the pinnacle<\/a> of the multimetric Hot Country Songs chart and in its first atop the radio-based Country Airplay chart. The song is from Langley\u2019s forthcoming album Dandelion<\/em>, which will release April 10. <\/p>\n

Langley reacted to the history-making feat on social media, sharing a video on Instagram and captioning it, \u201cWe did it!! Choosin\u2019 Texas is the #1 song on the @billboard #Hot100 \ud83e\udd2f\ud83e\udd79 I can\u2019t thank y\u2019all enough for what you\u2019ve done with this song, it blows my mind every single day. Here\u2019s to women & country music.\u201d<\/p>\n

Langley was far from the only artist reacting to the news. Lambert shared<\/a> an image of Langley on social media and commented, \u201cLEGEND.\u201d On Langley\u2019s post, \u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas\u201d co-writer Luke Dick commented, \u201cAmen,\u201d while Taylor posted a Hot 100 chart image with \u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas\u201d at the top and commented, \u201cMaking history.\u201d <\/p>\n

Many other artists also chimed in in Langley\u2019s comments section on Instagram. Tanya Tucker responded, \u201cYou go girl,\u201d while duo Tigirlily commented, \u201cSo huge! Congrats Ella!\u201d George Birge commented, \u201cHistoric\u201d with clapping and fire emojis. Graham Barham responded to Langley\u2019s video, writing \u201cGo Shawty,\u201d while Emily Ann Roberts commented, \u201cI could literally cry right now I\u2019m so proud.\u201d<\/p>\n

Langley will soon hit the road on her headlining Dandelion Tour, which launches May 7 in Ohio, and welcomes openers Kameron Marlowe, Dylan Marlowe, Kaitlin Butts, Gabriella Rose and Laci Kaye Booth.
