The Warning and Car\u00edn Le\u00f3n\u2019s \u201cLove to be Loved\u201d has topped Billboard\u2019s<\/em> Latin music poll<\/a> published on Feb. 6.<\/p>\n

In support of the weekly New Music Latin roundup and playlist, curated by Billboard<\/em> Latin and Billboard Espa\u00f1ol <\/em>editors, music fans voted for the Mexican collaboration as their favorite music release of the week.<\/p>\n

\u201cLove to Be Loved\u201d generated more than 60% of the vote, beating out other new releases including Carlos Vives\u2019 \u201cTe Dedico\u201d and a new W Sound tune by Myke Towers, Westcol and Ovy on the Drums called \u201c5 Estrellas.\u201d Meanwhile, \u201cBajo Cero\u201d by former CNCO members Erick Brian and Christopher V\u00e9lez was a close second in the weekly poll with nearly 35 percent of the vote.  <\/p>\n

Cowritten by the Monterrey-based group and superstar Teddy Swims, \u201cLove to Be Loved\u201d finds the Mexican trio \u2014 the Villarreal V\u00e9lez sisters (Daniela, Paulina and Alejandra) \u2014 rocking out with Le\u00f3n on his first-ever contribution sung entirely in English. The song meshes country and rock backed by Le\u00f3n\u2019s and The Warning\u2019s powerhouse harmonies.  <\/p>\n

\u201cAs a rock band, this is something completely different for us and a chance to explore new sounds,\u201d The Warning said in a press statement at the time. \u201dBlending musical worlds is always exciting, and working with our fellow Mexican artist Car\u00edn Le\u00f3n made the experience even more special. It\u2019s a collaboration that pushed us creatively and shows a new side of The Warning.\u201d <\/p>\n
