Ja Rule<\/a> has apologized for his actions following a heated dispute <\/a>with G-Unit\u2019s<\/a> Tony Yayo<\/a> and Uncle Murda on a Super Bowl Sunday (Feb. 8) flight.<\/p>\n

The Murda Inc. artist issued an apology <\/a>via ABC News on Thursday (Feb. 12), in which he said that he wasn\u2019t proud with how he acted on the plane, and reposted the statement to his Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not proud of my behavior. It\u2019s goofy to me. I\u2019m a grown man about to be a proud grandfather, and I wish that video of me wasn\u2019t out there either,\u201d he said. \u201cI don\u2019t like people taking me out of my character, so for that, I apologize to my wife, family, fans, business and investment partners. I want people to know at the end of the day, I\u2019m still a man and I\u2019m going to stand my ground. I don\u2019t start trouble.\u201d <\/p>\n

The decades\u2011long feud between Ja Rule and G\u2011Unit quite literally took off \u2014 after a video surfaced showing the rappers in a heated shouting match mid\u2011flight. Both sides have since shared their versions of what went down, with Ja Rule telling ABC News, \u201cI\u2019m not proud of my behavior.\u201d<\/p>\n

D Nice and Memphis Bleek gave Ja Rule props for showing maturity and taking the high road after tensions boiled over. D Nice commented with a simple \u201cRespect\u201d on the Instagram post, while Memphis Bleek shared \u201c100\u201d and the flexed bicep emojis. <\/p>\n

Billboard<\/em> has reached out to Tony Yayo and Uncle Murda for comment. <\/p>\n

Footage of the heated confrontation quickly went viral after Uncle Murda posted it to social media on Monday (Feb. 9). \u201cSucka a\u2014 Ja Rule on the plane,\u201d <\/a><\/strong>Murda said in the clip<\/a>. \u201cShut yo sucka a\u2014 up you f\u2014king sucka!\u201d <\/p>\n

Ja replied: \u201cOld a\u2014, police a\u2014, sucka a\u2014!\u201d<\/p>\n

Murda and Yayo claimed Ja threw a pillow at them in first class. TMZ<\/em> <\/a>then posted another angle of the altercation, which saw Ja Rule ready to pop off. \u201cLet\u2019s shake,\u201d he repeatedly shouted while standing in the aisle. <\/p>\n

A Delta spokesperson confirmed to Billboard<\/em> that there was a disagreement between parties on the flight out of San Francisco to NYC on Super Bowl Sunday, and one person was removed \u2014 which appears to have been Ja Rule \u2014 before takeoff.<\/p>\n

As usual, 50 Cent<\/a> didn\u2019t miss a chance to troll Ja Rule, <\/a>and the G-Unit boss reposted the footage to his Instagram<\/a> on Monday, adding another chapter to their 25-plus-year feud.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was by his self so he had to make a scene so they could remove his scary a\u2014,\u201d 50 wrote. \u201cLOL YAYO said suck my d\u2014k, the \u2026 stewardess said it\u2019s going down. LOL.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ja Rule hopped on X on Monday night to defend himself and explain what happened with the G-Unit crew members. \u201cI popped on these punks by myself on a plane lmao,\u201d he wrote<\/a>. \u201cp\u2013sy a\u2014 n\u2014as I threw the pillow at yayo head cuz you soft\u2026knocked ya hat all off s\u2013t was hilarious.\u201d<\/p>\n
