El Cuerpo Especializado de Control de Combustibles y Comercio de Mercanc\u00edas (CECCOM) informa que, como parte de sus labores de inteligencia y seguimiento, se logr\u00f3 la detenci\u00f3n de un veh\u00edculo utilizado para el transporte y comercializaci\u00f3n irregular de mercanc\u00edas en el Distrito Nacional.

Durante la inspecci\u00f3n, se encontraron en la parte trasera del veh\u00edculo varias fundas con una cantidad significativa de medicamentos de diferentes marcas, los cuales eran comercializados sin los permisos correspondientes. Este hecho constituye una violaci\u00f3n a la Ley General de Salud No. 42-01 y a la Ley No. 17-19 sobre Erradicaci\u00f3n del Comercio Il\u00edcito, Contrabando y Falsificaci\u00f3n de Productos Regulados, adem\u00e1s de representar una evasi\u00f3n de impuestos al Estado Dominicano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Los medicamentos y el veh\u00edculo fueron trasladados bajo custodia militar a la sede central del CECCOM para los fines legales pertinentes. Los responsables fueron entregados a las autoridades competentes, en espera de los procedimientos judiciales correspondientes.

Con estas acciones, CECCOM reafirma su compromiso permanente de proteger la salud p\u00fablica, garantizar el cumplimiento de las leyes y combatir el comercio il\u00edcito que afecta la econom\u00eda y la seguridad de la poblaci\u00f3n.
