El CDPC ha denunciado en varias ocasiones la situaci\u00f3n en este centro penitenciario.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abMot\u00edn en la prisi\u00f3n de Canaleta, en Ciego de \u00c1vila, Cuba. Los presos se han levantado exigiendo libertad para Cuba\u00bb, escribi\u00f3 en redes sociales Prisoners Defenders.<\/p>\n<p>Algunas fuentes han hablado incluso de muertes en la represi\u00f3n del mot\u00edn en Canaleta, un extremo que hasta el momento no han podido confirmar estas ONG.<\/p>\n<p id=\"h-el-motin-en-cuba-reaviva-el-debate-sobre-los-abusos\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>El mot\u00edn en Cuba reaviva el debate sobre los abusos<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El CDPD, especializado en la investigaci\u00f3n de la situaci\u00f3n en las c\u00e1rceles de la isla, ha denunciado en repetidas ocasiones en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os casos de muerte por negligencia, malos tratos, problemas de salubridad y castigos.<\/p>\n<p>Este colectivo, con sede en M\u00e9xico, registr\u00f3 al menos 60 muertes en las c\u00e1rceles de la isla entre marzo de 2024 y marzo de 2025.
