Una herramienta pol\u00edtica y un mecanismo de distracci\u00f3n social. Y aunque el fen\u00f3meno del &#8216;sportwashing&#8217; no es exclusivo de \u00c1frica, varios l\u00edderes del continente han sabido capitalizar la pasi\u00f3n en las canchas para reforzar su poder, mejorar su imagen o desviar la atenci\u00f3n de crisis pol\u00edticas. En esta edici\u00f3n analizamos c\u00f3mo el f\u00fatbol se convirti\u00f3 en un instrumento de influencia y legitimidad pol\u00edtica en distintos pa\u00edses africanos. <\/p>\n<div readability=\"57.744298548721\">\n<p>La noticia sobre los acuerdos de patrocinio entre <a href=\"https:\/\/www.france24.com\/es\/tag\/ruanda\/\" target=\"_self\" class=\"gtm-add-suggested-tag\">Ruanda<\/a> y al menos cuatro clubes de f\u00fatbol en <a href=\"https:\/\/www.france24.com\/es\/tag\/europa\/\" target=\"_self\" class=\"gtm-add-suggested-tag\">Europa<\/a> volvi\u00f3 a traer a la palestra los se\u00f1alamiento contra la naci\u00f3n africana, ya cuestionada por utilizar los eventos deportivos como una manera de desviar la atenci\u00f3n sobre los problemas internos, una pr\u00e1ctica que se conoce como &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.france24.com\/es\/tag\/sportwashing\/\" target=\"_self\" class=\"gtm-add-suggested-tag\">sportwashing<\/a>&#8216;.<\/p>\n<p>El t\u00e9rmino es un acr\u00f3nimo de las palabras en ingl\u00e9s &#8216;sport&#8217;, que traduce deporte, y &#8216;washing&#8217; que significa lavado. Y es una pr\u00e1ctica que personas, gobiernos e instituciones han llevado a cabo a trav\u00e9s del financiamiento a organizaciones deportivas, compra de jugadores o atletas, y organizaci\u00f3n de eventos de este calibre para as\u00ed limpiar su reputaci\u00f3n. Esto teniendo en cuenta, seg\u00fan el diccionario de Cambridge, todos los sentimientos positivos que inspira el deporte.<\/p>\n<p>Pero para los expertos, este t\u00e9rmino es debatible.
