Adem\u00e1s fue puesto a servicio de la comunidad un operativo odontol\u00f3gico.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>MADRE VIEJA NORTE, San Crist\u00f3bal, R.D. \u2013 El Instituto Nacional de Educaci\u00f3n F\u00edsica (INEFI) celebr\u00f3 este domingo 22 de febrero la jornada \u201cINEFI con el Barrio\u201d en el sector Madre Vieja Norte, llevando deporte, recreaci\u00f3n y servicios de salud a decenas de ni\u00f1os, adolescentes, j\u00f3venes y comunitarios de la zona.<\/p>\n<p>La actividad, realizada en la calle San Juan esquina Ram\u00f3n Mat\u00edas Mella, inici\u00f3 a las 11:00 de la ma\u00f1ana con un acto inaugural que incluy\u00f3 la entonaci\u00f3n del Himno Nacional, una invocaci\u00f3n a Dios a cargo de la se\u00f1ora Sara Almonte, miembro de la Junta de Vecinos, y palabras de las principales autoridades provinciales y municipales.<\/p>\n<p>Durante la jornada se desarrollaron torneos infantiles y juveniles de baloncesto 3\u00d73, voleibol femenino, ajedrez, b\u00e1dminton y vitilla, adem\u00e1s de una exhibici\u00f3n de karate que capt\u00f3 la atenci\u00f3n de toda la comunidad. De manera simult\u00e1nea, se llev\u00f3 a cabo un operativo odontol\u00f3gico gratuito, beneficiando a ni\u00f1os y adultos del sector.<\/p>\n<p>La actividad cont\u00f3 con la presencia especial de las exintegrantes de la selecci\u00f3n nacional femenina de voleibol, conocidas como \u201cLas Reinas del Caribe\u201d, entre ellas Gina Mambr\u00fa y Dany Savi\u00f1\u00f3n, as\u00ed como de la entrenadora de f\u00fatbol dominicana Betsaida Ubr\u00ed, quienes compartieron con los ni\u00f1os y motivaron a los j\u00f3venes a perseguir sus sue\u00f1os a trav\u00e9s del deporte.<\/p>\n<p>Compromiso con la juventud y la comunidad<\/p>\n<p>El discurso central estuvo a cargo del director ejecutivo del INEFI, Alberto Rodr\u00edguez Mella, quien reafirm\u00f3 el compromiso de la instituci\u00f3n de seguir llevando este tipo de iniciativas a los distintos barrios del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHoy no solo traemos torneos deportivos; traemos oportunidades. Traemos un mensaje claro a nuestros ni\u00f1os y j\u00f3venes: el deporte es el mejor camino para crecer con disciplina, valores y prop\u00f3sito. Desde el INEFI estamos convencidos de que cada cancha intervenida y cada actividad comunitaria que realizamos es una inversi\u00f3n directa en el futuro de la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana\u201d, expres\u00f3 Rodr\u00edguez.<\/p>\n<p>El funcionario destac\u00f3 que \u201cINEFI con el Barrio\u201d forma parte de una pol\u00edtica de integraci\u00f3n social que busca acercar el deporte a las comunidades, fomentar el trabajo en equipo y fortalecer la unidad familiar y comunitaria.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCuando ocupamos la mente y el cuerpo de nuestros j\u00f3venes en el deporte, los alejamos de los vicios y los acercamos a un proyecto de vida saludable.
