Un nuevo estudio sugiere que permanecer sentado o acostado, sin dormir, durante periodos continuos de m\u00e1s de 30 minutos al d\u00eda se asocia con un mayor riesgo de c\u00e1ncer.<\/p>\n<p>La relaci\u00f3n entre <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wired.com\/articulos\/cinco-minutos-mas-de-ejercicio-al-dia-bastarian-para-prevenir-una-de-cada-10-muertes-prematuras\">la salud y la falta de actividad f\u00edsica<\/a> es uno de los temas m\u00e1s estudiados en la actualidad. Diversas <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wired.com\/articulos\/cuantas-horas-de-estar-sentado-son-mortales\">investigaciones<\/a> han demostrado que la inactividad reduce en 1% la funci\u00f3n vascular y aumenta en 13% la probabilidad de sufrir un infarto. La p\u00e9rdida de masa muscular tambi\u00e9n influye en el riesgo de <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wired.com\/articulos\/casi-la-mitad-de-los-casos-de-demencia-podrian-prevenirse-con-simples-ajustes-pero-la-informacion-no-esta-llegando-a-la-gente\">desarrollar demencia<\/a>. Adem\u00e1s, los resultados fueron ajustados considerando otros factores que pueden influir en el riesgo de c\u00e1ncer, como la edad, tabaquismo, consumo de alcohol, alimentaci\u00f3n y la presencia de otras enfermedades.<\/p>\n<p>Los hallazgos mostraron que permanecer sentado o recostado durante m\u00e1s de 30 minutos consecutivos se asociaba con un mayor riesgo de muerte por c\u00e1ncer.
