Con gran espectacularidad, el CEO de Tesla, Elon Musk, present\u00f3 con orgullo el Roadster 2<\/a> apenas nueve a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s de anunciar por primera vez el auto, y lo hizo \u201cvolar\u201d. Aunque sin duda fue impresionante, el espect\u00e1culo tambi\u00e9n se puede describir como: Tesla hizo que su auto de lujo, cuyo lanzamiento se hab\u00eda retrasado tanto, \u201cdiera un gran salto\u201d y luego, como dir\u00eda Buzz Lightyear, \u201ccayera con estilo\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u00bfVolar o saltar?<\/h2>\n

Durante su presentaci\u00f3n en McGregor, Texas, en las instalaciones de desarrollo y pruebas de cohetes de SpaceX , el Roadster 2 de dos plazas se lanz\u00f3 por encima de toda la gama de veh\u00edculos del fabricante, aceler\u00f3 de 0 a 96 km\/h en menos de un segundo y, a continuaci\u00f3n, se lanz\u00f3 boca abajo desde una rampa alta para luego dar una vuelta en el aire y aterrizar en el suelo, amortiguando su r\u00e1pido descenso mediante propulsores a bordo.<\/p>\n

As\u00ed funciona el Roadster 2.<\/p>\n

Sus dos motores ofrecer\u00e1n m\u00e1s de un megavatio de potencia (1,341 caballos) y m\u00e1s de 1,400 newton-metros (Nm) de torque. As\u00ed, este veh\u00edculo tendr\u00e1 m\u00e1s torque y potencia que un Plaid de tres motores. Sin embargo, toda esa potencia se transmite \u00fanicamente a las ruedas traseras.<\/p>\n
