Tambi\u00e9n neg\u00f3 estar involucrada en las pesquisas y asegur\u00f3 que no existe continuidad jur\u00eddica entre ambas formaciones. Las asignaciones investigadas estaban destinadas a cubrir gastos administrativos y operativos de los grupos parlamentarios, as\u00ed como actividades de comunicaci\u00f3n sobre su trabajo. La investigaci\u00f3n busca determinar el destino de esos recursos y las posibles responsabilidades.<\/p>\n<p>Aunque Patriotas por Europa sostiene que no existe continuidad legal con Identidad y Democracia, la comisi\u00f3n de Control Presupuestario del Parlamento Europeo se\u00f1al\u00f3 elementos de continuidad entre ambos grupos: comparten al secretario general y a varios altos funcionarios, mientras que una amplia mayor\u00eda de los eurodiputados de ID pas\u00f3 a la nueva formaci\u00f3n tras las elecciones europeas de 2024.
