estaban presos en Venezuela por hacer protestas\"><\/a> <\/div>\n<p>Caracas, 25 de diciembre de 2025 &nbsp;(EFE).- El Comit\u00e9 de Madres en Defensa de la Verdad inform\u00f3 que, desde la madrugada de este jueves, han sido excarceladas 71 personas -65 hombres, 3 mujeres y 3 adolescentes- que hab\u00edan sido detenidas en Venezuela en el contexto de las protestas tras las elecciones presidenciales de 2024.<\/p>\n<p>En un nota de prensa, el colectivo detall\u00f3 que el grupo de hombres estaba recluido en el penal conocido como Tocor\u00f3n, en el estado Aragua (norte), mientras que las mujeres en el Centro Penitenciario Femenino La Cris\u00e1lida, en Miranda (norte), y los adolescentes en La Guaira (norte).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dice es un logro insuficiente<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El comit\u00e9 celebr\u00f3 las excarcelaciones, aunque consider\u00f3 que es un logro \u00abinsuficiente\u00bb, por lo que exigi\u00f3 \u00abla libertad plena\u00bb de todos los detenidos poselectorales a trav\u00e9s de una amnist\u00eda general.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abLa injusticia sigue afectando a centenares de familias en todo el pa\u00eds\u00bb, subray\u00f3 el colectivo, integrado por familiares de detenidos tras esos comicios.<\/p>\n<p>En octubre pasado, las madres de los detenidos indicaron que el proceso de excarcelaciones permanec\u00eda suspendido desde marzo de 2025, por lo que pidieron entonces la revisi\u00f3n de los casos de sus hijos.<\/p>\n<p>Las excarcelaciones de este jueves tambi\u00e9n fueron confirmadas en X por la ONG Comit\u00e9 por la Libertad de los Presos Pol\u00edticos, integrada por familiares de los detenidos.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Crisis pol\u00edtica<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Despu\u00e9s de las presidenciales del 28 de julio de 2024, <a href=\"https:\/\/efe.com\/mundo\/2025-09-29\/maria-corina-machado-carta-papa-leon-xiv-presos-politicos-venezuela\/\" data-mrf-link=\"https:\/\/efe.com\/mundo\/2025-09-29\/maria-corina-machado-carta-papa-leon-xiv-presos-politicos-venezuela\/\">se desat\u00f3 una crisis en Venezuela,<\/a> a ra\u00edz de la controvertida reelecci\u00f3n de Nicol\u00e1s Maduro, proclamada por el ente electoral -controlado por funcionarios afines al chavismo-, y de la denuncia de \u00abfraude\u00bb por parte de la oposici\u00f3n mayoritaria, que reclama la victoria de Edmundo Gonz\u00e1lez Urrutia.<\/p>\n<p>En este contexto, m\u00e1s de 2.400 personas fueron detenidas -la mayor\u00eda de ellas excarceladas- y acusadas de \u00abterroristas\u00bb, seg\u00fan la Fiscal\u00eda, aunque varias ONG y partidos opositores las defienden como inocentes y aseguran que son presos pol\u00edticos.<\/p>\n<p>El Ejecutivo de Maduro asegura que el pa\u00eds est\u00e1 \u00ablibre de presos pol\u00edticos\u00bb y que los se\u00f1alados como tal est\u00e1n encarcelados por la \u00abcomisi\u00f3n de terribles hechos
