SANTO DOMINGO.- Los Toros del Este vencieron 3-1 a los Leones del Escogido en el estadio Quisqueya Juan Marichal, en la continuaci\u00f3n del Round Robin de la LIDOM.<\/p>\n

Con el resultado del encuentro, Escogido y Toros (6-2) empatan en el primer lugar del Todos contra Todos.<\/p>\n

Los romanenses abrieron el tercer episodio con indiscutible al jard\u00edn derecho por parte de Gilberto Celestino, boleto a Bryan De La Cruz y sencillo remolcador de Eloy Jim\u00e9nez al prado izquierdo frente a Radham\u00e9s Liz. Con las bases llenas, Patrick Halligan entr\u00f3 a lanzar y un imparable de Jeimer Candelario al central llev\u00f3 otras dos a la registradora.<\/p>\n

Los capitale\u00f1os descontaron en el s\u00e9ptimo acto, que abri\u00f3 Elier Hern\u00e1ndez con un doble al bosque izquierdo ante Enyel De Los Santos, seguido de incogible al jard\u00edn derecho por parte de Jorge Mateo, que se estaf\u00f3 la intermedia. Emailin Montilla entr\u00f3 a lanzar y llen\u00f3 las almohadillas caminando a Jos\u00e9 Marmolejos. Otra transferencia a Pedro Severino llev\u00f3 a Hern\u00e1ndez a la goma desde tercera con la primera rayita roja.<\/p>\n

Aunque tir\u00f3 4.2 innings en blanco de dos hits y cuatro ponches, el abridor de los visitantes, Aaron Leasher, sali\u00f3 sin decisi\u00f3n. Jimmy Yacabonis (1-0) gan\u00f3 el juego al presentarse en un cap\u00edtulo en blanco. Liz (0-1) fue el lanzador derrotado al permitir tres anotaciones en 2.2 entradas. Joe Corbett (3) obtuvo el salvamento luego de tirar el noveno en blanco.<\/p>\n

Luego de la actuaci\u00f3n de Liz, el bullpen escogidista se combin\u00f3 para no permitir m\u00e1s anotaciones en 6.1 innings.<\/p>\n

Por los melenudos, Hern\u00e1ndez bate\u00f3 de 4-1, con doble y una anotada; Mateo, de 3-1, con una base robada; Erik Gonz\u00e1lez, de 4-2, y Raimel Tapia, de 4-1.<\/p>\n
