CARACAS 15 Mar.- La l\u00edder opositora venezolana Mar\u00eda Corina Machado ha advertido de que si las autoridades venezolanas aplican \u00abselectivamente\u00bb la Ley de Amnist\u00eda aprobada en la Asamblea Nacional, no deja de ser un modo de \u00abrepresi\u00f3n\u00bb.<\/p>\n
\u00abNegar la amnist\u00eda selectivamente es represi\u00f3n. El r\u00e9gimen encabezado por (la presidenta) Delcy Rodr\u00edguez pretende prolongar el terror para quebrar la moral de quienes luchan por la democracia y la Libertad en Venezuela, que ya est\u00e1n tan cerca\u00bb, ha advertido Machado en un mensaje publicado en redes sociales.<\/p>\n
\u00abEl r\u00e9gimen cree que a trav\u00e9s de su \u2018justicia\u2019 selectiva demuestra que tiene poder y control. Los venezolanos sabemos que en realidad ellos temen a una naci\u00f3n que ha decidido ser libre\u00bb, ha arg\u00fcido.<\/p>\n
La dirigente opositora ha asegurado que \u00abNo podr\u00e1n\u00bb porque \u00abVenezuela decidi\u00f3 ser libre\u00bb. \u00abHemos avanzado much\u00edsimo, y ahora todo se acelera. Hoy, con cada abuso del r\u00e9gimen no nos paralizan, sino que se fortalece la convicci\u00f3n de que este proceso es indetenible\u00bb, ha planteado.<\/p>\n
Machado se ha referido al caso de Perkins Rocha quien fue su abogado y representante del Comando con Venezuela durante el proceso electoral del 28 de julio de 2024, que la oposici\u00f3n denuncia por fraudulento. \u00abEl r\u00e9gimen lo secuestr\u00f3 durante 17 meses por la potencia y precisi\u00f3n de su palabra. Por decir y defender la verdad\u00bb, ha relatado.<\/p>\n
Rocha \u00abhoy sigue preso en su casa con un grillete electr\u00f3nico en el tobillo y le niegan la amnist\u00eda\u00bb. \u00abPerkins Rocha y todos los presos pol\u00edticos deben estar plenamente libres. No excarcelados, no judicializados: \u00a1Libres!\u00bb, ha apelado.<\/p>\n
La ONG Foro Penal ha informado este s\u00e1bado de que se han contabilizado un total de 690 liberaciones de presos pol\u00edticos en Venezuela desde el anuncio de excarcelaciones por parte de las autoridades el 8 de enero de 2026.<\/p>\n
Precisamente el s\u00e1bado el presidente del Foro Penal, Alfredo Romero, denunciaba que \u00abnegar la amnist\u00eda al doctor Perkins Rocha es absolutamente injustificable y constituye una grave violaci\u00f3n de los derechos humanos\u00bb.<\/p>\n
Las autoridades venezolanas estiman en m\u00e1s de 7.365 las personas que han obtenido la \u00ablibertad plena\u00bb gracias a la ley de amnist\u00eda, aprobada el pasado 20 de febrero y que abre la puerta a excarcelar a quienes hayan cometido delitos desde 1999.<\/p>\n
