SANTO DOMINGO. \u2014 La Direcci\u00f3n General de Migraci\u00f3n (DGM) inform\u00f3 la detenci\u00f3n de 1,385 haitianos sin documentos en distintos puntos de Rep\u00fablica Dominicana, en las \u00faltimas 24 horas, y que deport\u00f3 1,151 a su pa\u00eds de origen.<\/p>\n

En documento remitido a ALMOMENTO.NET dijo que los operativos fueron realizados en el Gran Santo Domingo, Santiago de los Caballeros, Hato Mayor y en Barahona.<\/p>\n

Los deportados, indic\u00f3, fueron trasladados hacia Dajab\u00f3n y El\u00edas Pi\u00f1a y entregados a las autoridades haitianas, luego de completar el proceso de registro y verificaci\u00f3n biom\u00e9trica en los centros de retenci\u00f3n habilitados en la zona.<\/p>\n

los deportados fueron conducidos a su pa\u00eds a trav\u00e9s de los pasos fronterizos formales, tras el proceso de verificaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

PROVINCIAS CON MAYOR PRESENCIA DE HAITIANOS <\/strong><\/p>\n

Las provincias donde se registraron mayores intervenciones fueron el Gran Santo Domingo (142), Monte Cristi (74), Dajab\u00f3n (73), La Vega (63), La Altagracia\/La Romana (63), El\u00edas Pi\u00f1a (55), Independencia (Jiman\u00ed) (54) y San Juan de la Maguana (49).<\/p>\n

\u00abEn apoyo a las operaciones de la DGM, el Ej\u00e9rcito de Rep\u00fablica Dominicana detuvo a 430 extranjeros indocumentados, entregados a la instituci\u00f3n, el Cuerpo Especializado en Seguridad Fronteriza Terrestre detuvo a 108, mientras que la Polic\u00eda Nacional particip\u00f3 con la detenci\u00f3n de 35 personas\u00bb, indica el documento.<\/p>\n
