El Museo del Louvre de Par\u00eds, emblema de la cultura francesa, alberga casi 9.000 a\u00f1os de historia y m\u00e1s de 600.000 obras en sus 70.000 m\u00b2 de espacios expositivos. Como el museo m\u00e1s visitado del mundo, con cerca de 9 millones de visitantes anuales, ha superado con creces su capacidad original. Sin embargo, en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, la instituci\u00f3n ha enfrentado diversas crisis, entre ellas un robo, fraude y tensiones sociales que han puesto a prueba su prestigio. <\/p>\n

El 19 de octubre de 2025, ocurri\u00f3 lo impensable: ladrones irrumpieron en el Museo del Louvre<\/a> a trav\u00e9s de una ventana de la Galer\u00eda de Apolo y robaron las joyas de la Corona, valoradas en 88 millones de euros. Este robo puso en evidencia las fallas de seguridad.<\/p>\n

Cinco meses despu\u00e9s del robo, David Desclos, un ex ladr\u00f3n que hab\u00eda sido invitado al Louvre en 2020 para grabar un p\u00f3dcast, regres\u00f3 al lugar. De pie cerca del balc\u00f3n utilizado por los delincuentes, expres\u00f3 su frustraci\u00f3n al observar las condiciones de seguridad del museo:<\/p>\n

\u00abHan instalado rejas en esta \u00fanica ventana, pero al mirar a su alrededor, el lugar parece un queso suizo. No hay rejas en ninguna otra parte, todas las ventanas son accesibles. Es una imprudencia\u00bb, se\u00f1al\u00f3.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Seg\u00fan Desclos, las ventanas no son el \u00fanico punto d\u00e9bil del Louvre. Tambi\u00e9n se\u00f1ala a los llamados \u00abladrones de canaletas\u00bb, capaces de moverse con rapidez por los tejados de Par\u00eds<\/a> y pr\u00e1cticamente imposibles de atrapar.<\/p>\n

France 24 present\u00f3 su an\u00e1lisis<\/a> a la polic\u00eda. \u00abTiene toda la raz\u00f3n\u00bb, afirma Axel Ronde, portavoz del sindicato policial CFTC. \u00abExisten aut\u00e9nticos comandos capaces de desplegarse r\u00e1pidamente y en gran n\u00famero. Por eso, en algunos lugares estrat\u00e9gicos se ha instalado alambre de p\u00faas en las azoteas. Pero el Louvre es un monumento protegido; no se le puede a\u00f1adir cualquier cosa\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Problemas estructurales importantes<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Los empleados del Louvre tambi\u00e9n expresan su preocupaci\u00f3n por el envejecimiento de la infraestructura, un problema que va mucho m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la seguridad.<\/p>\n

\u00abLlevamos a\u00f1os advirtiendo sobre la obsolescencia del edificio y sus sistemas t\u00e9cnicos anticuados. La seguridad ha sido objeto de numerosos debates desde el robo, pero el problema es mucho m\u00e1s grave\u00bb, afirma Gary Guillot, secretario del sindicato CGT<\/a> en el Louvre.<\/p>\n
