Dejemos que se desarrolle la investigaci\u00f3n\u00bb, ha afirmado la portavoz de la Casa Blanca, Karoline Leavitt, en rueda de prensa.<\/p>\n<p>Leavitt ha explicado que el Departamento de Seguridad Nacional y la Oficina Federal de Investigaci\u00f3n (FBI) est\u00e1n participando en la investigaci\u00f3n el incidente.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, ha mantenido el discurso oficial que responsabiliza a las autoridades estatales y municipales de \u00abmentir\u00bb y fomentar a \u00abagitadores de izquierda\u00bb frente a las operaciones antiinmigraci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Hasta ahora las autoridades federales hab\u00edan rechazado investigar la muerte de Pretti a pesar de la indignaci\u00f3n provocada entre la poblaci\u00f3n, ya que se trata de la segunda muerte de un ciudadano estadounidense en Minnesota por disparos de agentes federales en 17 d\u00edas.<\/p>\n<p>Las autoridades estatales y municipales han manifestado su intenci\u00f3n de investigar lo ocurrido, pero las competencias son de las agencias federales, que hasta el momento se\u00f1alaban a Pretti como responsable por portar un arma, cuando ten\u00eda licencia y es legal en ese estado. Las im\u00e1genes grabadas y difundidas en redes sociales muestran c\u00f3mo Pretti es tiroteado cuando estaba siendo reducido por al menos cuatro agentes federales y no prueban que el ahora fallecido hubiera sacado su arma.<\/p>\n<p>La muerte de Pretti se suma a otros incidentes como el de la muerte de Rene\u00e9 Good el pasado 7 de enero, tambi\u00e9n tiroteada por agentes federales, o la detenci\u00f3n de un ni\u00f1o de cinco a\u00f1os.
