Santo Domingo.- Los conductores no pagar\u00e1n peajes este Viernes Santo, luego de que el Fideicomiso RD Vial, en coordinaci\u00f3n con el Ministerio de Obras P\u00fablicas y Comunicaciones (MOPC), dispusiera la exoneraci\u00f3n total del cobro<\/strong> en todas las estaciones del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n

La medida abarcar\u00e1 todas las estaciones administradas por RD Vial en las principales autopistas y carreteras, incluyendo la Autopista Duarte<\/strong>, Autopista Las Am\u00e9ricas<\/strong>, Autov\u00eda 6 de Noviembre<\/strong>, Boulevard Tur\u00edstico del Este<\/strong> y la Autopista del Nordeste<\/strong>, entre otros corredores del sistema nacional de peajes.<\/p>\n

El director de RD Vial, Hostos Risik<\/strong>, explic\u00f3 que el Gobierno asume un sacrificio econ\u00f3mico importante<\/strong> al dejar de percibir estos ingresos en un d\u00eda de alta movilidad, pero subray\u00f3 que la prioridad es facilitar el desplazamiento de las familias<\/strong> durante esta fecha.<\/p>\n

Medida busca aliviar gastos y facilitar movilidad<\/h3>\n

Risik afirm\u00f3 que la eliminaci\u00f3n del peaje no es solo un gesto simb\u00f3lico, sino una acci\u00f3n concreta de alivio econ\u00f3mico<\/strong> que impacta directamente a miles de ciudadanos en un momento de reencuentro familiar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

El Viernes Santo<\/strong> es una de las jornadas de mayor desplazamiento en el pa\u00eds, cuando miles de personas viajan hacia playas, destinos religiosos y zonas tur\u00edsticas<\/strong>, especialmente hacia el sur, el este y la regi\u00f3n del Cibao.<\/p>\n

El tr\u00e1nsito libre beneficiar\u00e1 a conductores que aprovechan el asueto de la Semana Santa<\/strong> para movilizarse sin el costo adicional del peaje.<\/p>\n

Refuerzan seguridad vial y asistencia en carreteras<\/h3>\n

Como parte del operativo, RD Vial reforz\u00f3 las labores de mantenimiento y seguridad vial<\/strong> en los tramos de mayor flujo vehicular. El programa Carreteras Limpias<\/strong> intensificar\u00e1 sus brigadas en m\u00e1s de 4,500 kil\u00f3metros de v\u00edas<\/strong>, garantizando condiciones \u00f3ptimas de tr\u00e1nsito.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s, el Servicio Integrado de Asistencia Vial<\/strong>, operado por la COMIPOL, mantendr\u00e1 m\u00e1s de 200 unidades desplegadas<\/strong> en puntos estrat\u00e9gicos, disponibles durante toda la jornada.<\/p>\n

Los conductores podr\u00e1n solicitar ayuda gratuita marcando el 511<\/strong>, n\u00famero habilitado para atender emergencias y aver\u00edas en carretera.<\/p>\n

Entre las infraestructuras que impactar\u00e1n el flujo vehicular en esta temporada destacan la Circunvalaci\u00f3n de Ban\u00ed<\/strong>, la Avenida Ecol\u00f3gica<\/strong>, la ampliaci\u00f3n del Boulevard Tur\u00edstico del Este<\/strong> y la mejora en la se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n de corredores tur\u00edsticos<\/strong> en La Altagracia.<\/p>\n
