Bad Bunny headlining the 2026 Super Bowl Halftime Show was historic, intentional, cultural, in Español and impactful, drawing an estimated 128.2 million viewers to the star-studded performance, according to figures released by Nielsen Big Data + Panel on Tuesday (Feb. 10).

Among those viewers was Marc Anthony, who felt all sorts of emotions with the performance.

“I loved it. I loved every second of it. I clapped at the television,” Marc tells Billboard’s Leila Cobo. “In those moments [Super Bowl halftime shows], for the most part it’s about ‘me, me, me and what a rock star I am and look how I float.’ And what Benito did was a celebration of his culture in the moment of truth. And I knew every idiosyncratic thing, those nuances he did during the performance, I think it was beautifully done.”

The almost 15-minute show that took place during the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots game on Feb. 8 embraced the hardworking and fun spirit of the Puerto Rican and Latin community, highlighting farm workers, street vendors, athletes, dancers and musicians alike.

The artist born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio loudly and proudly sang some of his biggest hits, including ”Tití Me Preguntó,” “Yo Perreo Sola,” “Nuevayol” and “Baile Inolvidable,” while Lady Gaga, Ricky Martin, Karol G, Cardi B and Pedro Pascal were among his surprise guests.

But beyond that, he brought a message of unity to the Levi’s Stadium field: “Together We Are America,” read a football he held at the end of his performance.

“It made me feel so proud, and the fact that he used that vehicle to celebrate our culture and remind people that we’ve been here forever and we’re not going anywhere, regardless of the rhetoric and the bulls–t,” Marc continues. “So, kudos for him and everybody who celebrated. I clapped at the television.”

Marc Anthony will kick off his Las Vegas…My Way residency on Feb. 13 at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas.
