Bad Bunny first graced the Super Bowl halftime stage in 2020 before headlining the 2026 show on Sunday.

When Bad Bunny took over the Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday, it wasn’t his first time on the halftime stage.

Back in 2020, Bunny joined Shakira during her co-headlining halftime show with Jennifer Lopez, performing Cardi B’s “I Like It” alongside Shak, as well as a mash-up of his song “Callaíta” with her “Chantaje.” J Balvin also made a guest appearance at the 2020 show, performing his songs “Que Calor” and “Mi Gente” mashed up with Lopez’s “Booty,” “El Anillo” and “Love Don’t Cost a Thing.”

Last year’s Super Bowl halftime show also featured a repeat performer: Kendrick Lamar — who had top billing at February 2025’s Super Bowl halftime at New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome — joined his mentor Dr. Dre (along with Snoop Dogg, Eminem and Mary J. Blige) at the then-brand-new SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, for the first full-fledged hip-hop halftime show. He pulled out two solo songs — “m.A.A.d city” from his 2012 sophomore album good kid, m.A.A.d city and “Alright” from 2015’s To Pimp a Butterfly — and also joined the group for “Forgot About Dre” and “Still D.R.E.” His 2025 solo headlining set marked the second hip-hop halftime.

But Bad Bunny and Lamar are hardly the first performers to return to the halftime stage. In fact, two have even played the big game three times at this point.

Below, find all the artists who have performed at the halftime show more than once. (Note: We’re considering halftime shows in the modern era, since New Kids on the Block first took the show in a pop direction in 1991. Sorry to the Grambling State University Marching Band and Up With People.)
